A Vaporeon TF Ch 3

A few days has passed since we were captured and...well..my gift of different features. I was pretty much drugged in every test they made just to make I won't:
a. attack
or
b. try to escape.
As much as I want to have another glance of my parents Arceus knows what happened to them, I'm happy to at least have Aqua here with me.
I guess it was a Saturday or a Sunday when Plasma researchers moved us to a small indoor garden for "observation purposes."
"Why do you think they moved us here?" Aqua asked as she rested on my side.
"I have no idea," I replied.
"Maybe they'll finally let us go?" she asked.
"Doubt it," I sighed. "I'm guessing we're here so we can have space for 'activities'."
"You're probably right." She takes a small glance at me, her sapphire eyes illuminating from the sunlight coming from the sunroof, and asks, "Do you miss them?"
"Confusion is a stronger emotion right now," I explained. "They must have done something wrong for this to happen. Just look at me, I'm a vaporeon for mew's sake."
"Maybe it was meant to be," she shrugged as she began to nuzzle my neck, "besides I like you better like this."
I began to feel a bit uneasy after I heard her opinion. Does she mean that she likes me? No, it couldn't. I'm her trainer...or was and I don't have feelings for her in that way.
"Stop squirming you mangy mutt!"
Our ears perked up as we heard footsteps mixed with growling near the garden.
"Sounds like we have company," I told her.
"We should go check, Aqua suggested.
We lingered over to the thick bulletproof glass doors and were appalled as we watched a female umbreon, lashing her claws and biting the guard 's hand, trying to break free.
"BREEOONN!!!" she hissed. "UMBREON!!!!"
"I said stop!" the guard yelled as he threw her in.
The guard quickly shut the door and we ran up the umbreon without hesitation.
"Are you okay?" I asked her as we helped her up.
"Never better," she muttered. " I need to get my boyfriend and save him!"
"There's no way out of here," Aqua informed her. "Believe me we tried."
"The only thing we can do right now is wait," I added, "and hope for the best."

"So exactly how did it happen?" Aqua asked curiously as we laid next to a shady tree.
"We were just walking around Nuvema to visit a friend. The second people left the streets, they came in and dragged us in a van and the next thing I knew, I was getting dragged away from in this," she explained with a tone.
"Don't worry..uhhh.."
"Crystella," the umbreon spoke
"Don't worry Crystella," I assured, though being uncertain myself, "I'm sure he's gonna be okay."
"I hope so, she muttered.
"Out of all subjects, this is the worst subject that I've every experimented on!" a voice boomed the hallway.
"What do you mean doc?" another voice asked. "This one was the best behaved out of all."
"Well that's because he almost DIED from the procedure!"
"Look on the bright side, at least we don't have to worry about hearing a peep from him anymore."
"Is that...?" Crystella whimpered.
"Possibly," Aqua answered, "lets go check."
We quickly got up and strolled towards the door, finding an umbreon laying on his side. He was completely different than any other that I've ever seen. For one, his body is scrawny and a bit smaller than the average. The second thing that was unusual was that his rings were flickering in variations of gold and blue.
"Color?"
His eyes glanced at her as he slowly opened his mouth to speak.
". . ."
"Color?" Crystella's voice quivered.
He opened his mouth to try to speak again with his face expressing pain from the attempt and Aqua quickly stopped him after realizing what happened.
"I think their little "lab time" has affected his...vocal chords," Aqua said softly. "I'm sorry."
Crystella began to sob as she hugged him tightly. It almost broke my heart watching those two affected greatly from Plasma's unknown plot. I guess it was that moment that made me feel lucky that Aqua and I unharmed by this, but as well the new burden that my parents may or may not caused gave me no choice but to end this somehow before it gets worse.
